actually i know a ritual where you could do just that but if you listen carefully you can hear them you dont need a ritual, well i dont

When my fiance and i moved into a lovely little 2 bedroom terraced house it was very cold.I just assumed it was due to the lack of carpets. But when we put our little boy to bed we'd hear footsteps going across the hallway upstairs which at first we thought was our son until I was upstairs and heard the footsteps while i was up there. After a while-about 6 months-the bedroom door used to bang but didnt wake our son up-we never saw it but only heard it.It never disturbed our little boy and the only times he used to wake up were the nights we didnt hear any footsteps! So i like to think that whoever it was was looking after our baby. The house never got warm-even with carpets and heating-but i was always happy in that house.

Creepy but also really sweet...something like that kinda happened in our house about 2 Christmases (?) ago...
T'was the night before Christmas and me being the usual insomniac that I am was the last to fall asleep at around 3am. I must have been asleep like 10 or less minutes when I heard a soft knocking on my bedroom door. I woke up and the kocking continued for a few more seconds so I know that I wasn't imagining anything. I got up, opened the door and there was no one there. I went through all the bedrooms and everybody was sound asleep in bed. So I turn on the bathroom light and went in and at the same time heard noises and what I thought was a guy's voice coming from our back garden. I finished up in the bathroom, went into my grandmother's bedroom overlooking the rear garden and looked out the window. There was of course nobody there.
My mother was sleeping downstairs and something had woken her up at around the same time. She heard the noises too. Our house was broken into before through the back garden...so we reckon the knocking was a warning and when I turned on the lights...it scared whoever was out there away...creepy huh? And that's only one of the strange occurences that went on in my house. Nothing has happened here for AGES though...which I certainly am not complaining about!

most spirits do look out for us , we have a woman in our house who always watches my mum when she is decorating. The woman watches my mum with a smile on her face, my mum says its because the womans husband wouldnt let her decorate her house. lol we're a weird family, we are all a little clairvoyant which makes for an interesting life
